Two men were beaten to death in Ganga Jamuna rural municipality Dhading on Saturday.
A 52-year old Narung Tamang and 64-year old Plek Tamang recognized as Purung Maila were killed in the incident as mentioned by police.
The victims were accused of being the witch so the locals attacked and killed both of them.
According to a local, people gathered in a funeral procession in their neighborhood committed this incident by blaming these two witch doctors (Jhakri) for their misdeed against helpless animals and even people.
The further investigation of this incident is underway as per SP Dambar Bishwokarma from Dhading District Police Office.
Unfortunately, the locals have burnt the dead bodies before the police could reach there.
