Sudarshan Khatiwada Elected as President of SAAN Nepal

Kathmandu, April 17 – Sudarshan Khatiwada has been elected as the new president of the Satyawati Alumni Association Nepal (SAAN Nepal), an organization comprised of former students who have passed the SLC exam from Satyawati Higher Secondary School located in Adamtar of Siddhalek Rural Municipality Dhading. Khatiwada was elected as the president during the third general assembly held in Kathmandu on Saturday.

Prahlad Lamichhane and Indira Adhikari have been elected as vice presidents of the working committee, Ramchandra Pokharel as general secretary, Rammani Khatiwada as treasurer and Janak Shrestha and Apsara Pandit as secretaries. Roshan Giri, Deepak Khatiwada, Chandravati Khatiwada, Pramila Adhikari, Parvati Khatiwada, Narayan Shrestha, Purushottam Khatiwada and Vishnu Shrestha have been elected as members of the working committee.

President Khatiwada passed SLC from Satyawati in 2057 and is an opinion editor of OnlineKhabar. He is also the secretary of the Community Radio Broadcasters Association (ACORAB) and has been active in journalism for two decades, in addition to teaching journalism.
