6 people from Dhading who were born in Dhading and living in America have nominated themselves in the elections of Non-Resident Nepali Association, National Coordination Council, America (NRNA) for
this term of 2023-2025 Rajiv Shrestha of Gajuri rural municipality, who is the native of Dhading, has submitted his candidacy for the vice president of NRNA America.
Similarly, Ramhari Adhikari of Gangajamuna Rural Municipality has nominated for the Secretary General; whereas, Diwakar Pandey of Tripurasundari Rural Municipality and Urmila Shrestha have nominated as Co-Treasurer and Women’s secretary respectively. Likewise, Rama Khatiwada from Siddalek rural municipality and Srijana Sharma from Gangajamuna rural municipality have been nominated as Female Board of Directors.
Nepali Association, National Coordinating Council, America (NRNA) US elections are scheduled to be held on July 22nd and 23rd. Bhakta Gurung of Sunaula Bazar Jalkeni located in Dhading Neelkantha Municipality has been elected unopposed as the president of NRNA New Jersey, whereas Uttam Dhamala of Dhading Neelkantha Municipality is a candidate for the regional coordinator position of NRNA America West region.
