Law: first time in Dhading

Advance Academy located in Dhadingbensi is going to run classes of Law from 25th Ashadh in the secondary level (class XI and XII) for the first time in Dhading district.

Principal Govinda Budhathoki said that Advance Academy is introducing law faculty in secondary education in order to address the growing demand of law manpower in the nation.

“In the present context, the manpower of law is highly demanding not only in the court or ministry of law but also in the central, provincial as well as in the rural government as per the provision by the constitution.”, Budhathoki added, “That is why we choose to focus this faculty.”

According to the secondary curriculum designed by CDC, students of law need to study 700 of full marks in law subjects in class 11 and 12. Among them, they need to study 300 in class 11 besides Compulsory Nepali and English and 400 of full marks in class 12 besides Compulsory English.

Students who stydy law in secondary level can join bachelor’s degree of Law later in their career. They can study in other faculties as well. Law faculty attracts many students since it provides them with many opportunities not only in the nation but also abroad.
