
Dhading, Nepal — Former principal Rajan Giri of Mahakali Secondary School, located in Siddhalek Rural Municipality–7 of Dhading, was given a grand farewell ceremony and escorted to his home in a traditional doli procession accompanied by Panchai Baja music.
The special program, organized on Friday by the school, also included a felicitation ceremony for federal parliamentarian Urmila Thapaliya and an honor program for “Capable Homemakers.”
Speaking as the chief guest, Thapaliya said she has been continuously raising her voice in Parliament for people-centered policy reforms. She appreciated the school’s efforts under its school improvement plan, particularly the formation of mothers’ groups in different communities to promote educational and social awareness.
The event, chaired by School Management Committee Chairperson Ramsharan Giri, also honored students who achieved outstanding GPA scores in the SEE 2082 examinations.
The program witnessed the participation of local parents, teachers, students, and various social personalities.
