Marsyangdi river washed away two people swimming near the dam of Mid-marsyangdi Hydropower in Beshisahar-1 on Saturday.
A 14-year old Yogendra Rimal and a 15-year old Ajit Thapa were the residents of Beshisahar-8, Makaidanda who were washed away as mentioned by Police Inspector Basanta Pandey. ‘The searching for the lost ones is ongoing’, he added.
Among three swimmers, Pratik Rimal was rescued by Nepali Army, Police and locals after around 45 minutes from the time they got lost.
