Nepal, Ashij 3- The present resident of Belgium Lok Dahal originally from Budhathum and Kashi Danai from Chainpur provided helpless and poor children with financial aids.
The vice-treasurer of Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and social worker Dahal, and the successful youth enterprenuer Danai made a donation of one lakh thirty eight thousand eight hundred fifty one ruppees to the orphans and poor children on the occasion of tenth anniversary of the establishment of their company.
However, it is not the first time they have shown their generosity. Lok Dahal, who has been providing aids in education and health sectors, and for the children who are facing acute poverty since an earthquake took place in 2072, have made his profile as a social campaigner not only in Dhading but worldwide and another social worker Kashi Danai is no other person but Dahal’s son-in-law.
Danai has also contributed some portion of his income in social works. As a resident of Dhadingbeshi, many people donot know that Danai himself had managed the place for cemetery and made a structure for Kiriya Putri. “I have requested the locals to make an estimate of the cost to add more facilities in that building”, he said.
Moreover, Danai provided financial support to the free-lunch program for the working class people started at Tundikhel, Kathmandu after the national lockdown.
Sita Dahal, the wife of Lok Dahal, is also renowned as a social worker who has contributed a lot to establish and renovate the temples, drinking water schemes, and to foster health sectors and the elderly people. Presently, she has provided the Nawajiwan Paropakar Samaj with a financial aid. Fourteen aged people are living in the old age home as of now.
